This led to a back surgery (the same type had been suggested years earlier but the client had been able to put it off) and significant disruption to his life. We successfully held the city accountable for failing to maintain safe sidewalks, securing a $1.5 Million settlement for our client.
- $378,000 Boating Accident Settlement
Our client, injured in a Boating Accident, sustained back injuries but managed to continue working without missing significant time or undergoing therapy. Despite the minor disruption to his daily life, our firm was able to secure a significant settlement for the pain and suffering caused by this accident.
- $1 Million for Delivery Truck Driver Rear Ended
A 73-year-old delivery truck driver was rear-ended, resulting in a collapsed lung and shoulder injury. Additionally, doctors found evidence of a brain hemorrhage which was resolved without treatment at the Emergency Room. We argued that our client sustained a traumatic brain injury as a result of the accident and recovered $1 Million on behalf of our client for his injuries.
- $738,000 settlement at a final pre trial conference for Trip and Fall in New York Street
While visiting New York City, a woman from Missouri tripped over a wooden chock sticking out from a temporary cylinder, causing a tear in her Achilles tendon. She underwent surgery and continues to experience issues of Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS). Our firm was able to secure $750,000 for her injuries and the ongoing challenges they cause in her life.
